Anantara The Marker Dublin – the essence of Irish hospitality
Anantara The Marker Dublin – a five-star luxury designer hotel at Grand Canal Square in the middle of the city’s new, vibrant business and culture district – truly deserves its name. Located at a milestone of a historic canal that stretches along the coast of Ireland, the hotel is situated in the beating heart of the city’s Silicon Docks and the nearby International Financial Services Centre, making it a hotspot for global and European business.
Thanks to its sophisticated architecture and futuristic appearance, the building is a remarkable eye-catcher with an impressively sleek and urban look, as well as modern, contemporary design. Originally planned by Aires Mateus & Associates Architects and completed by McCauley Daye O’Connell Architects, the building’s clear lines and geometric forms reflect the character of the nearby Bord Gáis Energy Theatre (designed by Daniel Libeskind) and the many attractions throughout Grand Canal Square, which was laid out by Martha Schwartz.
From here, guests can enjoy a breathtaking view of Grand Canal Square and the Dublin Docklands. The central location makes it the perfect starting point for sightseeing or business. All 187 rooms are equipped with furniture from talented Irish designers. The hotel also offers nine conference and ball rooms with space for up to 350 people, making them ideally suited for business events and weddings. The roof terrace and award-winning spa facilities are especially popular among guests who are looking to relax and recharge.
The hotel has received multiple nominations for the prestigious World Travel Awards in categories such as Ireland’s Leading Luxury Hotel 2022 and 2023, Ireland’s Leading Hotel Suite 2022 and Europe’s Leading New Hotel 2021. In addition, it was named Ireland’s best hotel at the Condé Nast Traveler 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards. That speaks for itself!
