Deka Immobilien has sold the Ville l’Évêque office building in the Central Business District of Paris (8th Arrondissement). The new owner is CDC Investissement Immobilier, a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts.
The property was part of the portfolio of the public fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa for 24 years. Over this period, fund management achieved a significant increase in value and generated stable cash flow for the investors. This is another example of the successful strategy Deka Immobilien has in the international real estate market.
The five-story office building offers 4,900 sqm of rental space with high-quality fittings, an impressive rooftop terrace, and 75 underground parking spaces. It has been awarded the prestigious BREEAM "Very Good" certification for sustainable building practices.
Prior to the sale, Deka Immobilien carried out an extensive, sustainable renovation between 2021 and 2023, repositioning the building with significantly higher rents. A long-term lease agreement was ultimately signed with the law firm Simmons & Simmons LLP.
